Waste logistics for professionals - which entities do we serve for the collection of used energy storage?
Our waste logistics services are aimed at to entities generating waste (in this case: waste cells) and having an entry in the BDO. According to current legislation, any company or institution wishing to donate energy storage for disposal must register with BDO - used cells are hazardous waste, so quantity exemptions do not apply.

We operate all entities that are introducers within the meaning of the Act of 24 April 2009. on batteries and accumulators, including:
- manufacturers of batteries and accumulators,
- industrial and manufacturing facilities,
- warehouses and logistics centres,
- operators of RES installations (e.g. photovoltaic and wind farms),
- companies that install and service energy systems,
- entities managing technical infrastructure in multiple locations,
- companies upgrading their energy supply or storage systems.
We work with both small companies producing small amounts of waste energy storage, as well as global giants introducing thousands of tonnes of new cells to the Polish market. Thanks to our extensive logistics network and cooperation with trusted partners from all over Poland, we also provide collection of energy storage from multiple locations, e.g. from branches or service points spread out across the country.
What waste do we collect? Waste codes for used energy stores
We collect from our customers all types of energy storage in quantities starting from 100 kg. Most often, used energy storage units with BDO codes are submitted for disposal:
- 16 06 01* - lead batteries and accumulators,
- 16 06 02* - Nickel-cadmium batteries and accumulators,
- 16 06 04 - alkaline batteries (except 16 06 03),
- 16 06 05 - other batteries and accumulators,
- 16 06 06* - selectively collected electrolyte from batteries and accumulators.
Used energy storage facilities transported to processing facilities, recycling and other forms of recovery and disposal. We only cooperate with proven, legally operating treatment plants with valid waste treatment permits.
