Rules for the collection and disposal of glycol

Used glycol and other refrigeration fluids collected in containers suitable for storing liquid waste, e.g. in drums, mausers or other approved containers. Each waste container should be marked with a waste code. If you need a new waste container or are unsure whether you have classified your used coolant correctly, ask our expert for support.

We only serve entities that have a current registration with BDO. Why is this important? Environmental legislation requires every company that generates hazardous waste and most other waste generators to keep electronic waste records in the BDO system. If you are required to keep such records but have not yet obtained an entry, we can apply for BDO registration on your behalf.

Once a collection date has been set fill in the electronic Waste Transfer Note (KPO) in the BDO system. You will receive the details of the transporter and collector of your waste in a separate message from us. The card must be generated before the waste is collected - otherwise we will not be able to carry out the order. Also make sure that all donated containers are placed in an easily accessible place - This will speed up the loading and collection of the coolants. Once the waste has been collected, you can track the current status of the service in the BDO system. Confirmation of completion of the shipment means that the waste has already arrived at the destination facility and were sent for disposal.
